৪১তম বিসিএসে রেকর্ডসংখ্যক প্রার্থী আবেদন করেছেন। এই বিসিএসে আবেদনের শেষ দিন ছিল আজ শনিবার। শেষ সময় আজ সন্ধ্যা ছয়টা পর্যন্ত মোট ৪ লাখ ৭৫ হাজার প্রার্থীর আবেদনপত্র জমা পড়েছে। এর আগে ৪০তম বিসিএসে রেকর্ডসংখ্যক ৪ লাখ ১২ হাজার প্রার্থী আবেদন করেছিলেন।
পাবলিক সার্ভিস কমিশনের (পিএসসি) পরীক্ষা নিয়ন্ত্রক নেছার উদ্দিন প্রথম আলোকে বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি বলেন, মোট ৪ লাখ ৭৫ হাজার আবেদন জমা পড়েছে, যা রেকর্ড। এখন পর্যন্ত ৩ লাখ ৭৪ হাজর ৮১৬ জন প্রার্থী ফি জমা দিয়ে আবেদন নিশ্চিত করেছেন। ফি দেওয়ার অপেক্ষায় আছেন নিবন্ধন করা আরও ১ লাখের বেশি প্রার্থী। আবেদন গ্রহণের সময় শেষ হওয়ার পরবর্তী ৭২ ঘণ্টা পর্যন্ত আবেদন ফি জমা দেওয়া যাবে। তাঁর ধারণা, এবার মোট আবেদনকারীর সংখ্যা সাড়ে চার লাখ ছাড়িয়ে যেতে পারে।
