ডিপিই সূত্র জানায়, নিয়োগ বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশের সময় ১২ হাজার পদের কথা বলা হলেও শূন্যপদের চাহিদা বিবেচনা করে তা ১৮ হাজারে উন্নীত করার সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়া হয়েছে। এতে মৌখিক পরীক্ষা দেওয়া প্রতি তিনজনের মধ্যে একজনের নিয়োগপ্রাপ্তির সুযোগ সৃষ্টি হচ্ছে।
প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক ড. এ এফ এম মনজুর কাদির কালের কণ্ঠকে বলেন, ‘শিক্ষক নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়ায় পরীক্ষার চূড়ান্ত ফল তৈরির কাজ চলছে। আগামী ২২ থেকে ২৬ ডিসেম্বরের মধ্যে আমরা এই ফল প্রকাশ করতে পারব বলে আশা করছি। এ ছাড়া পদের সংখ্যাও বাড়ানো হয়েছে। এবার প্রায় ১৮ হাজার শিক্ষক নিয়োগ দেওয়া হবে।’
জানা যায়, জাতীয়করণকৃত ২৬ হাজার প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক পর্যায় খোলা হলেও সেখানে এখনো শিক্ষক নিয়োগ দেওয়া হয়নি। চলতি নিয়োগের ফল প্রকাশের পর নতুন করে আরো ২৬ হাজার শিক্ষক নিয়োগের বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশের প্রস্তুতি নিচ্ছে ডিপিই।
প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে ১২ হাজার শিক্ষক নিয়োগের জন্য গত বছরের ৩০ জুলাই বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্রকাশ করে ডিপিই। ওই বছরের ১ থেকে ৩০ আগস্ট পর্যন্ত নির্ধারিত সময়ে ২৪ লাখ পাঁচজন প্রার্থী আবেদন করেন। এটা প্রাথমিকে শিক্ষক নিয়োগ প্রক্রিয়ার ইতিহাসে সর্বোচ্চ আবেদন। এরপর চলতি বছরের মে মাসে সারা দেশকে চার ভাগে ভাগ করে চারটি ধাপে পরীক্ষা নেওয়া হয়। আর প্রশ্ন ফাঁস রোধে কেন্দ্রে কেন্দ্রেই প্রশ্নপত্র প্রিন্ট করা হয়।
গত সেপ্টেম্বরে প্রকাশিত হয় লিখিত পরীক্ষার ফল। তাতে উত্তীর্ণ হন ৫৫ হাজার ২৯৫ জন। এরপর ৬ অক্টোবর থেকে মৌখিক পরীক্ষা শুরু হয়। জেলায় জেলায় এই পরীক্ষা শেষ করতে এক মাস লেগে যায়। এরপর সারা দেশ থেকে আসা ফল পরীক্ষা সমন্বয়ের দায়িত্বে থাকা বাংলাদেশ প্রকৌশল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে (বুয়েট) পাঠানো হয়েছে। তারাই চূড়ান্ত ফল প্রকাশ করছে।
জানা যায়, লিখিত পরীক্ষার জন্য নির্ধারণ করা হয় ৮০ নম্বর। আর সার্টিফিকেট ও মৌখিক মিলিয়ে রয়েছে ২০ নম্বর। এরপর লিখিত ও মৌখিক পরীক্ষার ফল সমন্বয় করে প্রার্থী চূড়ান্ত করা হচ্ছে।
